What artists do you admire right now?

I really admire Rae Klein's work. I am very inspired by her paintings and the ambiguity behind them. I appreciate the emphasis on allowing the viewer to create their own interpretation and experience of her work, without providing too much information.

Why is art important to you?

For me art can become a way to access our internal worlds, which are often times overlooked or misunderstood. Art work that has moved me is artwork that is introspective, and asks us to look inside of ourselves.
